There are many ways for two dogs to show their relationship dynamic, and a silent standoff between two Corgis in a hilarious video is just one of those perfect ways. The clip from Instagram user @jenmajeskypike shows furry siblings, Crumpet and Thor, sitting close together on the carpet without barking, lunging, or even fully facing each other. Instead, they communicate unusually — by slowly showing teeth like they are trading some kind of warning.

Dogs pull different faces in adorable Instagram video

The video’s caption sums up the relationship between the two dogs: “Sibling love…er…hate. Crumpet: ‘I love you!’ Thor: ‘No.’” Meanwhile, their “conversation” looks almost polite.

The Corgis sit upright with ears slightly angled back and lips pulled up just enough to flash little front teeth, all while their eyes look wide and alert. But their body stays planted, as if to say, “I said what I said.”

One of the Corgis keeps a more open mouth, then mirrors the teeth display of the other dog. Honestly, it reads less like a real fight and more like the world’s most subtle sibling squabble — and one viewer called it exactly that, writing, “The World’s Most Subtle Fight Ever.” Another correctly observed, “Corgis are hilarious lol.”

If you have seen this before, you are not alone. Viewers flooded the comments with reassurance that this brand of Corgi weirdness is standard, with one joking, “My two do this, too! Relieved to see it’s the whole breed that’s broken not just mine.” Meanwhile, another added, “Mine do this too. They fight like human brothers.”

Some viewers even admitted they enjoy the ridiculous faces a little too much, with one writing, “I love corgi snarls too much! I must be a real sick person.” Another viewer summed up the dynamic, joking, “One corgi is snarly & the other is hmm! Hahaha.”

By the end, one Corgi finally looks directly at the other, only to get completely ignored. And honestly, it is classic sibling behavior.
