A golden pup named Comet Olsen has a very strict snack schedule. When the craving hits, she turns the couch into a stage. The dog sits tall, stares hard, and throws her front paws up like she is filing a complaint.

The best part is her confidence. One minute, she is calm, and the next, she is performing on demand. The reel frames it as “PB o’clock.” Soft daylight frames Comet’s fluffy fur as she lets out tiny barks, hops, then freezes, awaiting the verdict dramatically.

Golden Retriever expresses excitement for ‘peanut butter o’clock’

In a viral Instagram clip from peachycomet22, posted three days ago, Comet’s Golden Retriever energy is on full display, with the caption teasing snack time.

It reads, “Apparently it’s peanut butter o’clock.” Comet reacts the moment her owner pushes back. The voice notes it is 10:30 a.m., not treat time. Comet stays planted, then lifts both paws again like she is objecting.

A Golden Retriever often learns household routines fast, especially around food. Many also use eye contact and pawing to get attention. Training a calm cue can help, but Comet’s dramatic “double paws” is what sells the joke. The short sequence keeps looping between protest and patience. The dog sits with her head tilted up, and springs upright on her back legs the next moment. She pops both paws in the air, drops down, and looks forward like she is waiting.

Fans replied fast. One wrote, “10:30 its breakfast time! Peanut butter is in the menu for breacky.” Another said, “The double paws always gets me!!!” A third added, “I’ve been an extra special good girl this week, Mom.” Someone else joked, “Don’t you know it’s ALWAYS peanut butter time.” The post uses original audio and shows Comet on a blanket-covered couch under a tall floor lamp. It has 30.3K likes and 239 comments, as of the time of writing.
