A loyal canine is melting hearts after helping his sister find her way back home. In a touching reel, Bear turns a simple backyard run into a protective little mission. The clip, shared by Kelly Dinham, shows the attentive pup keeping an eye on sister Honey from a distance. Instead of waiting, he goes to get her himself.
The dog helps the deaf sibling so they can both get inside the house
The video centers on Bear, a brown and white dog, and Honey, his deaf sibling. Instagram user @kellydinhamphoto posted the reel five days ago. Peter Gregson’s “360” plays softly in the background. The on-screen text reads, “This is how Bear brings his deaf sister back home. Part 2.” In the caption, Kelly wrote that they never taught Bear this and that he learned it on his own. The reel showed 22.6K likes and 96 comments.
Both animals look like herding breeds, likely Border Collie mixes. That makes Bear’s behavior feel even more fitting. These dogs often stay alert and watch movement closely. They also tend to stay tuned in to their family members. Here, Bear seems fully focused on Honey and her position in the yard.
The reel starts near the house, where Bear stands on the porch before taking off. The dog races across the grass toward Honey, who is farther out in the field. He reaches her, gives her a quick nudge, and turns back. Honey follows right behind him as both hurry toward home. Another shot shows Bear running ahead, then checking the path back to the porch. By the end, he is back at the deck, still making sure his deaf sibling is coming too.
