A dog named Ranger is really upset with his owner for taking him to the groomers instead of what she initially promised to get him — pup cups. The Husky thought they were going for pup cups, but what he got instead was the groomer. And judging by his face on the ride home, in a video from @sassyhuskies on Instagram, this betrayal will live on in family history.

In the video, Ranger sits in the passenger seat and does not try to hide his upset with his owner for taking him to the groomer, staring straight ahead rather than looking at his mom. The on-screen text gives the whole thing a rating of “10/10 pouty.” Meanwhile, the post’s caption clarifies that the attitude never let up, noting, “He was side eyeing me the whole drive home.”

His mom films him and explains the problem. She says, “Ranger is so upset with me right now because he thought we were going for pup cups, but we went to the groomers instead,” while reaching over to rub his fur.

Then she apologizes, telling him, “I’m sorry, my love.” And she tries to highlight the bright side, saying, “Look how fluffy your fur is. You look so beautiful. You’re so soft. I’m sorry, babe. I love you.” But Ranger does not budge.

At the end of the video, another dog, Ghost — who is not upset about going to the groomers with his owner — makes a surprise appearance. He peeks from the backseat, looking calm, as his mom says, “Ghost is handling it well.”

Dogs act like this when plans change, because they learn certain stops and build big expectations for rewards — but when the end of the story gives them a bath and a blow-dry instead of a sweet treat, some dogs make sure you know they noticed.

Well, Ranger may forgive, but he will not forget.
