This dog loves belly rubs so much that she couldn’t care enough about her mom’s ranting — she just wants to be pampered. The video, shared by @woody_the_englishcocker on Instagram, features an English Cocker Spaniel named Woody who adores getting belly rubs. The clip shows the dog lying cozily on the bed and giving a side-eye to her mom as she talks, as she seems to care about nothing else at the moment except getting belly rubs.

Dog has priorities straight even when mom is ranting about her day

This English Cocker Spaniel loves getting belly rubs from her mom. The clip shared on Instagram gained a lot of attention as it shows a cute yet stubborn side of the dog. The video begins with Woody sitting on a bed while her mom talks about her day. After all, Woody is her best companion, so who else would she share things with? It’s evident that the mom was opening up to her to vent out and share her thoughts about the day.

However, Woody has her priorities straight. She knows it’s time for her belly rubs. So what she does is completely adorable and amusing. As her mom is ranting, she gives her a side eye, as if saying, “I understand you’re upset, mom, but right now is my pampering session.”

When her mom doesn’t budge and continues talking, clearly wanting to share her thoughts with her furry friend, the dog does something else. She slowly leans back and stares into her mom’s eyes. It is as if she is saying, “I hope this makes it clear, mom. I demand belly rubs now.” The paw parent eventually understands, and the video ends with Woody finally getting her belly rub.

The video was captioned, “Just rub the belly woman,” playfully showing the stubborn side of the dog. Viewers, too, sided with the dog, saying those belly rubs are equally important. One user wrote, “If she thinks about it, she will realise that giving you a belly rub will calm her down. It’s very therapeutic for hoomans as well as you.” Meanwhile, other pet lovers said that the dog is really “cute.”
