Apparently, two walks before 10:30 a.m. still aren’t enough exercise for Moose. The Golden Retriever is already waiting by the doorway with his tennis ball, hoping his mom will take the hint. But when she quietly reminds him that the baby is sleeping, his plans quickly fall apart.

In a video shared by @asillygoldenmoose, Moose looks at his mom and then toward the sleeping newborn before turning around and walking away in disappointment, as though the news has completely ruined his morning.

Golden Retriever acts like two morning walks are nowhere near enough

In the Instagram video, Moose still seems hopeful. He waits by the doorway, panting with his tennis ball between his front paws and giving his mom a look that says exactly what he wants. When she quietly calls his name, he responds with an impatient stare before she explains the problem: his baby brother is asleep.

The camera then shows the newborn resting in his mom’s arms. Moose takes the news in, looks less than thrilled, and walks away, leaving his tennis ball behind. It is a pretty funny reaction for a Golden Retriever who, according to the caption, has already had two walks that morning.

It even introduces him as a “professional guilt tripper.” This actually feels fitting after watching him make one more attempt to get his mom’s attention without actually saying a word. Nothing ever satisfies his endless energy.

The clip has picked up more than 6,700 likes, and viewers are clearly entertained by Moose’s timing. One person reminded him that it was “NAP time,” while another simply called his persistence “the Golden way.” Plenty of laughing emojis showed up, too.

There is also something very engaging about the furry baby suddenly having to adjust to life with a newborn in the house. The attention may be a little different now, and some things might have to wait when the tiny human is sleeping. Still, two walks before 10:30 a.m. is a pretty solid effort from the humans tackling an active pup and an infant.
