Finn has figured out what can make a walk much more interesting: a food-filled window he can stop and stare at. The senior dog stops at food displays whenever something yummy catches his attention, giving himself plenty of time to inspect what is happening on the other side of the window.
@_keira_rae put together a montage of Finn’s stops, and there is plenty for him to watch, from gelato going into a cone to pizza dough being rolled out. At this point, a compilation of Finn’s food stops feels completely justified.
Dog turns his walk into a series of stops to admire food in windows
When the video starts, Finn is out on his harness and leash, taking his time as he makes his way through the neighborhood. Right away, the screen offers a pretty accurate introduction: “Finn & any food window… A love story.”
One of his first stops comes at a window, where Finn stands outside watching the workers inside. A person there spots Finn at the window and gives him a big smile.
In the next clip, Finn stands glued to the pavement, watching an ice cream artisan fill a crispy cone with fresh gelato. A little farther along, another food stop catches his attention outside a pizzeria. He settles in to watch the dough being rolled out, with finished pizzas on display nearby.
The café gets his attention next, and Finn stops outside to see what is happening inside. Pastries sit under a glass cloche while a barista works nearby, giving Finn another window to study.
Call it dog window shopping, because Finn clearly has his own list of windows worth stopping for. He makes one more stop at a restaurant, standing outside the kitchen window and watching the staff work.
Each time the Mix-Breed dog stops at food displays, his owner simply waits beside him and lets him have a look. The video has also drawn plenty of attention from people who clearly understand why Finn wants to check out every window.
Finn is also going through lymphoma treatment, which makes these ordinary walks especially meaningful for his family. And as long as Finn keeps finding food behind those windows, there will probably be plenty of reasons for him to stop again.
