Poppy’s Grandma turns out to be her ultimate savior when she pulls up for a surprise visit in this video. And the sassy Boxer from @royalprincesspoppy knows exactly which cards to play in front of her. Poppy waits by the front door with so much anticipation. She truly believes she is being neglected by her parents.

In this viral video, Poppy cannot even handle the excitement at hearing Grandma come up the stairs. She does a full round of zoomies on the landing because she knows her Grandma is officially here to save the day.

The action starts with the front door opening, and Poppy immediately loses her mind with joy. She wiggles her entire body from head to tail. Grandma asks if that is her baby, and Poppy seems to reply with even more stomps and jumps. This breed is famous for being the clowns of the canine world. They have zero chill when guests arrive. Grandma almost sits on the stairs just to greet her. Both are equally excited to meet the other.

They head straight to the kitchen for the investigation. Grandma opens the fridge, takes a look, and immediately sides with the dog. “There’s nothing in there,” she says, clearly concerned. According to the in-video text, Poppy is apparently starving. Never mind the caption that says she eats four times a day and has her own Starbucks card. That part gets ignored real fast.

One comment summed it up perfectly: “Grandma is literally CPS for Poppy.” And it keeps going. Next, Grandma checks the treat cupboard, finds Easter cookies, and starts offering options, as if she’s fixing a real problem.

Poppy sits patiently for her reward, then takes it and heads straight for the big white bed. Mom tries to stop her from devouring her cookie up there. But Grandma tells her to let the baby have it. One viewer noted that they can see the ribs on this royal princess. The support for this starving pup is hilarious.
