Rescue dog Gabby Sue is waiting for a new start after a painful shelter story shared by Katie K. The 4-year-old Brittany Spaniel mix appears in a video from @katie_kawash. She plays outside, smiles at the camera, and shows her gentle side. The rescued pup is in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and her story centers on loss, comfort, and one more chance at family. The clip explains why she still needs a safe home now.

Katie wrote that Gabby Sue arrived at a shelter with her puppies before they were taken from her. The separation left her deeply depressed, according to the post. With only hours left before euthanasia, the National Brittany Rescue & Adoption Network stepped in and saved her. Now, the rescue dog is available through NBRAN and needs someone willing to adopt or foster her.

The video does not show a dog who has stopped trying. Gabby Sue walks outside near a stone wall, carries a ball, and looks bright when someone gives her attention. On-screen text says NBRAN saved her, but she is still waiting for her forever home. Another caption calls her a good girl who plays fetch and loves her people.

Her needs are clear and simple. Katie wrote that Gabby Sue loves kids, adores her people, and never says no to fetch. She may do best as the only dog in a home, though a calm male companion could work. After everything she has lost, she needs patience, comfort, and a steady family who understands her heart.

Gabby Sue survived separation, fear, and an almost final deadline, yet she still looks for affection. Her soft face and wagging energy make the happy ending feel close, but not complete yet. People responded with love for her. One comment read, “You deserve the world and will bring your person so much joy and love.” Others added, “What a sweet precious girl.” More people wrote, “She is beautiful,” and “Adopt this baby.”
