Some dogs wait patiently for their humans to wake up. Horace, a Siberian Husky, apparently has a different approach: if his morning plans need attention, he makes sure someone gets out of bed. A sweet video shared on Instagram shows Horace standing in the hallway as he waits for his owner’s boyfriend to wake up.

The text over the clip reads, “POV Horace wakes you up in the morning,” setting the scene for a morning routine that quickly became too adorable for viewers to ignore. According to Horace’s owner, she had already left early for work when her boyfriend remained in bed. Horace, however, had no intention of letting the morning pass without getting started.

Horace had his own way of getting attention: he stomped his feet until someone finally got up. And judging by the video, Horace had a good reason to keep insisting. His first plan for the day was to go outside and spend some time with his human. His owner’s Instagram profile, @horaceandfriendss, introduces the account as a space centered around Horace and his life with Delanie Wall.

Horace’s persistence quickly won over viewers, many of whom joked that his approach was far more charming than an alarm clock. One user wrote, “Much more polite than barking. Good boy Horace!” Another said, “Horace can be demanding and still be cute at the same time.” Others couldn’t get enough of the senior dog.

One viewer wrote, “He’s just beyond adorable.” Another commented, “Oh my goodness! Someone needs to get up because Horace has big plans! Aww, could he be any cuter?” One more viewer summed up the reaction perfectly, writing, “This is the greatest thing I’ve seen today. I love him.” For Horace, the morning was simple. His human needed to get up, and he had already decided it was time to start the day.
