How does a dog react when their human comes home late? This Instagram video shows a Staffordshire Bull Terrier (a.k.a. Staffy) getting upset with her owner. Named Holly, the pup is “disappointed” with her parent as he has come home late.

When the man enters, she seemingly glares at him and turns around to take her place on the couch. It looks like the fur baby sulks until her human coaxes her with belly rubs. Meanwhile, Holly’s antics have melted viewers’ hearts, with many calling her “sweet” in the comments.

In an adorable dog video on Instagram, a Blue Staffy named Holly’s heartbroken expression shows how much she missed her human. The clip begins with an on-screen text: “I got home a bit later than usual.” Then, it features the pup slightly stepping towards him with a plushie in her mouth.

It looks like she initially gets excited to see her owner as she wags her tail continuously. But Holly pauses, glares at the man, and turns around when she remembers that the human’s late arrival has upset her. So, the fur baby moves away and gets on the couch with her toy.

Meanwhile, the on-screen text reads, “I got the ‘I’m not mad, I’m just disappointed’ treatment.” She tries to remain upset when the human lovingly greets her. However, soon, her mood changes, and Holly happily enjoys the belly rubs.

The owner mentions in the caption: “I waited for the Welcome Home Grumble but it never came… That’s how I knew she was big mad… I’m sorry Holly! I’ll never be late again!”

Viewers have also loved the video. One user wrote, “Oh my GOD she is TOO freaking sweet. I can’t stand it. I love her.” Another commented, “Holly striking the pose with her head resting on the octopus – oh my – my heart melted.” The post has garnered over 19K as of this writing.
